So Google’s long awaited social network has finally poked its head out. Google recently opened its’ public beta. However, demand has been so high that they have temporarily suspended all new sign-ups including those that have received invitations from current users. Lets see a little bit about some of the features.

Circles

This feature appears to be some sort of grouping function that will allow you to control who sees what either updates or other information.  Because you know that your roommates know things you probably wouldn’t want your mom to see.

Huddles

This is a group chat/texting tool allows you to host a group chat texting party for planning. However, it is unclear if it will require an android phone or if other phones will be able to as long as there is a host using the google+ app.

Anyways its very exciting and we are waiting for the beta to reopen!
